Supporting leadership in training MFMs that benefits mothers and their children

“Ted Quilligan was my mentor in medical school, residency and beyond, and remains the closest of friends. His leadership through the Foundation for SMFM certainly encourages one to support the organization. I have watched the Society develop from its infancy, from its nascent beginnings, to what is now clearly one of the most influential international organizations in our specialty. The scientific and educational programs of our related Foundation are outstanding. The opportunities given to promising residents headed for a career in Maternal-Fetal Medicine through the Quilligan Scholars Program, as well as the financial support to developing investigators through the SMFM-AAOGF Scholarships, and the emphasis on global health training through the Queenan Fellowships are examples of the leadership in training provided by the Foundation. The organization deserves generous support for all the collective efforts which ultimately benefit the health of mothers and their children.”
