NEW! The Foundation has introduced the Perinatal Quality Foundation (PQF) Award, which was made possible by a generous gift from the former PQF to the Foundation for SMFM. Following the PQF’s closure in early 2024, this new award celebrates and extends its legacy.

Aligned with the former PQF’s mission, the award will support projects focused on evaluating and enhancing the quality of care and patient safety across various areas of obstetrics. This includes, but is not limited to, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, fetal medicine, maternal complications, obstetric ultrasound, and reproductive genetics.

Applications are due on September 15, 2025, and the amount awarded is a maximum of $25,000.
