“I give to the Foundation for SMFM because it advances the field of maternal-fetal medicine. Through research scholarships, educational retreats, and experiential learning opportunities the Foundation makes better MFMs. For me the fellows retreat is one of the most impactful programs the Foundation funds. It allows first year MFM fellows to engage with each other and leaders in the field about research, career development, and life balance. The retreat for me laid the foundation for a successful fellowship and continues to serve as a guide for my career.
